Materials and Care: Aluminium and Wool

Aluminium:

Aluminium is a lightweight and incredibly durable material that can withstand extensive use. The powder coat process creates a tough protective layer to help prevent scratches and chipping while providing a smooth, even finish that is easy to clean and maintain.

Caring for the aluminium frame:

Regularly clean the aluminium frame with a soft, damp cloth.
Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that can cause damage.

Wool:

Wool is an excellent choice for pet furniture due to its natural properties. It is hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking, and resistant to odours and stains. Wool fibres naturally repel bacteria, reducing the need for frequent cleaning.

Caring for natural wool:

Use a lint roller or vacuum attachment to remove pet hair or debris from the wool fibre.
For stain removal, gently spot clean with mild wool soap and lukewarm water. Avoid excessive scrubbing, as this may damage the wool fibre.
Let the wool air dry completely before replacing it on the cat wall furniture. If necessary, use a steam iron at a low temperature to smooth the surface.

We stand by the quality of our products and offer a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Under this policy, any item found to have a manufacturer's defect within 12 months of purchase will be replaced or repaired at our discretion.

Please note: Pet Person will not cover normal wear and tear caused by pets under this warranty. Additionally, this includes any damage to the furniture caused by chewing, scratching or other pet-related activities. Furthermore, any damages resulting from improper use or maintenance of the product are not covered.

If your Pet Person product develops a manufacturer's defect within 12 months of purchase, please email us with details about the issue, including contact details, the order number, date and any images, so our team can resolve it.
